NEW YORK – June 21, 2013 – ALM’s The Legal Intelligencer, America’s oldest daily legal newspaper and the most trusted source of Pennsylvania legal news, information and analysis, is celebrating its 170th anniversary this month by hosting a unique awards dinner that will honor some of the most influential attorneys in Pennsylvania.

Among The Legal Intelligencer’s Lifetime Achievement Award Winners are leaders of billion-dollar corporations, accomplished trial attorneys, civil rights advocates, promoters of judicial independence, leaders in government, founders of AmLaw 200 law firms, champions of diversity, protectors of children and a U.S. Supreme Court Justice.

The event will also feature the presentation of the “Arlen Specter Award,” a special award to be handed out for outstanding work done in the past 10 years to promote the law, profession or cause of justice in Pennsylvania. The three finalists for the Arlen Specter Award are:

* John M. Cleland, Pennsylvania Superior Court
