PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE LATEST LEGAL WEEK LIVE APP: As of September 27, 2016, you should be using this version of the Legal Week Live app. Older versions are no longer available in the storefront and are no longer supported.
Existing subscribers may use the same login details as you use for LegalWeek.com. However, any content subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play will need to be refunded via those providers, and re-purchased via the new app. We were not able to transfer those subscriptions to the new app.
Is the app free?
Yes, the app is free to download, but you have to be a subscriber in order to view content. The login details for the app are the same as the username and password you use for LegalWeek.com.
What devices is the app available for?
The app is available on both Android and Apple devices, including smartphones and tablets.
What operating systems are required to use the app?
iOS7+ and Android 4+
How do I install the app?
- Open the app store and search for “Legal Week Live.”
- Select the Legal Week Live app and tap on the “GET” button. The app will then download and appear on the home screen of your device.
- Open the app, log in using your username and password, and start browsing.
Why is the app taking a long time to download?
In order to troubleshoot, please check the following:
- Is your device is connected to either a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G network?
- Does your device have enough storage space?
- Have you used all of your data allowance?
- Does your device have a compatible operating system installed?
I am already a subscriber; is the app included in my subscription?
Yes, if you’re a current subscriber, you may use your login credentials to access content on the Legal Week Live app.
My company has a Corporate Subscription. How do I access the app?

I don’t have a subscription. How do I subscribe?
You can subscribe on subscriptions.legalweek.com or via the purchase function within the app. To purchase within the app, click on the person icon and tap “App Store Purchases.” Underneath New Subscriber, select the “Purchase” button.
I’ve forgotten my username and password. How do I retrieve my details?

The content isn’t up to date. What can I do to troubleshoot?
In order to troubleshoot, please check the following:
- Is your device is connected to either a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G network?
- Does your device have enough storage space?
- Have you used all of your data allowance?
- Do you have the latest version of the app installed? Check the App Store or Google Play app on your device to see if there is an update available to download.
- Does your device have a compatible operating system installed?
Will I only have access to the latest content?
You’ll be able to access all the issues in the app. Every issue you download will remain on your device, building up a library of issues you can access at any time.
Is it possible to just download one issue?
Absolutely! Just install the app and then download the issue you’d like to view.
How do I delete an issue?
At present it isn’t possible to delete single issues. You will have to delete the app then re-install it, but please be aware that this will delete every issue you’ve downloaded.
If I update the operating system on my device, or the app itself, will I still be able to use the app?
Yes. Updating either the operating system or the app will have no effect on the functionality of the app and all your downloaded issues will remain in your library.
If I update the app to a new version, will I lose the articles I have saved to my Scrapbook?
Unfortunately, we are not able to transfer your Scrapbook from the previous version of the app to the one released September 27, 2016 or later. Once you have updated to the September 27, 2016 version, any new articles saved to your Scrapbook will remain there until you delete them.
Why can’t I find the Scrapbook function in my app?
The Scrapbook is denoted by a Star icon on the toolbar at the top of the screen. If you still can’t find the Scrapbook please contact our customer service team using the details below.
If I log out, will I lose the issues I’ve downloaded, or the articles I’ve added to my Scrapbook?
No, when you log back in to the app you will once again see the articles in your Scrapbook, and any issues you’ve downloaded.
How do I uninstall the app?
To uninstall the Legal Week Live app, please follow the instructions given by your device manufacturer. Note that you will lose any issues you’ve already downloaded. You will have to download them again if ever you re-install the app.
