Our data processes were running like a well-oiled machine. Information came in and valuable insights flowed out. In the middle of it all sat a series of processes that dissected information from a very complicated source, smoothed it out, and made it useful. Then the Department of Labor released a statement saying they were going to make major changes to our data source, the Form 5500. Along with the statement came one thousand pages of supporting documentation.
